Our professional architectural photography experience begins with a comprehensive consultation to discuss your project, photography requirements, and my proven process. This in-person meeting or phone call allows me to gain a deep understanding of your unique needs, ensuring I deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations and showcase the outstanding qualities of your architectural work.

 

To optimize the efficiency and success of your photo shoot, we will discuss several key details in advance. Providing thorough information helps me plan a seamless, enjoyable, and productive photography session. Valuable details include:

I may also request supplementary materials prior to the shoot, such as building floor plans, a list of desired spaces to photograph, and any existing shot lists or scouting images.

 

Following our consultation, I will provide a detailed cost estimate proposal based on a fixed pricing structure, ensuring transparency and no unexpected changes.

 

Professional Architectural Photo Shoot Process

On the day of your scheduled photo shoot, I arrive 30 minutes early to set up equipment and evaluate the space. Whenever possible, I appreciate the opportunity to meet with the owner's facilities representative or project superintendent to discuss building systems, leveraging my experience as a former facilities director. With you or your client present, we will conduct a walk-through to collaborate on photo compositions.

 

During the shoot, expect each composition to take up to 30 minutes, as final images are meticulously crafted from multiple exposures. My camera is tethered to a laptop, allowing you to review photos in real-time and provide feedback for adjustments as needed.

Upon completion, I ensure the building is returned to its requested condition. Having a building representative present to verify the space meets expectations is greatly appreciated.

Photo Processing and Delivery of Architectural Images

Professionally processed images will be delivered within 7 business days, unless otherwise agreed upon for review. I utilize industry-leading software, CaptureOne and Photoshop, to perfect each photo. Images can be provided in TIFF or JPEG format via Google Drive.

Once the images are finalized, I will issue an invoice. Upon receipt of payment, I will license the photos for your use.
